Frequently Asked Questions

Revised May 2, 2006

When is the website updated?

When we can!  Both Osvaldo A. Greco and CriGo (the webmaster of the website) have multiple obligations in addition to updating Greco's Girls. It takes lots of time and effort to draw, scan, create the webpages and upload all the stuff that is in the website.   Time that sometimes we can't dedicate to the website because other things in our lives take precedence, like it happens to everybody else!  Because of all these factors we will not announce update dates in the future. Please don't fill our emails or the GrecoGroup asking for the updates.  We know you enjoy the website, but it is a fact of life that we cannot update the website as frequently as you or we would like.  Remember, this is a free website and we got to work to pay our bills. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Can you send me an email when you update the website?
Sure! You can receive an email to learn when the website is updated if you subscribe to the GrecoGroup at Yahoo.  Updates may be are also announced at the Western Civilization and AVGDID forums.
Does Osvaldo takes commissions?
Osvaldo takes commissions both for pinups and comics.  Check the Commissions section for more details.
How much time does it take Osvaldo to do a comic?

Due to his multiple obligations it takes Osvaldo 4 months to pencil, ink and letter a  100 pages comic book.  When he had less work duties he used to do it in a month!

Why the comics are posted in installments?
The comics that are posted in the website have different states of completion when they start appearing on the website.  Some are complete, but need to be scanned.  Some were penciled years ago, but will be inked now, some were halfway finished and Osvaldo needs to pencil, ink and letter the other half.  Others have to be translated. And sometimes Osvaldo wants to start posting a brand new comic that he is just starting to do.  Posting comics in installments gives Osvaldo time to finish penciling/inking/lettering and scanning them.
Can I suggest ideas for storylines of Osvaldo's comics or for requests of characters for the Art Galleries?
Sure, you can post your suggestions and requests in the GrecoGroup.  Please keep in mind that Osvaldo has already several comics and ideas for pinups in production plus he needs to finish first his commissions so he may or may not follow your suggestions right away.  Nevertheless, all ideas and comments are always read and greatly appreciated.   Keep sharing them!
Can you explain how to download Osvaldo's comics using Megaupload?
Here is how to get the comics from Megaupload:

1. Click the link that appears in Greco's Girls for the comic you want

to download.

2. That will take you to the Megaupload website

3. A box will appear that has a timer that counts down for a minute or

less until it reaches zero.

4. Sometimes a big square appears with an add that says MEGAUPLOAD

LINKS. Click on the "X" on the right hand corner to make the box

disappear.

5. A box appears with the message "click here to start download", time

to obey and click over it to start the download of course.

6. Then the usual windows appear depending on your browser to indicate

where you want to store the zip file that contains the comic.

7. Choose where you want to save the file and wait a few minutes to

download the comic.

8. Use a zip file utility such as WinZip to open the file.

8. Follow the instructions of your Zip software to unpack the files.

That's it!
What are the numbers that appear in the  right corners  of some Art Galleries such as Vault Art among others?
There are links to additional galleries.  Click over the numbers to see more of the artwork associated with the gallery you have just visited.
Why are some titles in the Comics sections not in English?
Those words are in Spanish.  Osvaldo created many of his comics originally in his native language.  As a service to our English language readers we have translated the comics into English,  but we also like to provide our Spanish readers with some bondage comics in their native tongue too!
Why there are no men in Osvaldo's comics?
It is done on purpose to be similar to the classic bondage comics published by Irving Klaw that featured only women dominating women.  As Osvaldo says, "men are ugly, I prefer to draw beautiful people!"
And where is the hardcore s/m stuff?
Osvaldo's art is done more with a sensual tone than a sexual one, so don't expect hardcore sadomasochist artwork here. Sexy?  Girl on Girl action? You bet!  But no torture. That is not his style.
Who created Sweet Gwendoline?
The character of Sweet Gwendoline was created by John Willie.  Gwen is perhaps the most famous damsel in distress character, her adventures have been translated to many languages and she was even the subject of a motion picture.  You can read Willie's original Gwendoline comics by ordering them from Belier Press.  Artists such as Eric Stanton, Franco Saudelli, Wicz and others have created their own comics about Gwendoline.  Osvaldo wanted to pay tribute to this great character by creating more comics about her, just as others have done.
I don't remember agent K-15 ever appearing in Willie's stories.  Why?
Osvaldo created several characters to interact with the classic cast to do more stories.  Osvaldo's creations include good girls K-15, Reby, Fifí, Rosanna and Ursula,  On the bad girls side Anoushka, Lin & Zhin, Clarissa and Maya come from Osvaldo's vast imagination.
Has Osvaldo created comics featuring characters other than those from Sweet Gwendoline?
Yes, you can see samples of those comics in the Vault Comix section.
About those comics that are featured in the Vault Comix section, are the whole comics posted here or in other website?  Where can I see them?
The comics that are featured in the Vault Comix section are samples of stories that Osvaldo did many years ago in Spanish.  They have not been posted anywhere.  As it happens with some of his work not all of these stories are completely penciled/inked/lettered or scanned.  Eventually many of these stories will be finished and translated to English.  One of those comics, called Prisoner of the Virtual World has already started its installments on the website.  Others will follow!
Can you display the link for my paysite or free website?
We can now.  We ask that your website be related to the themes we present here at Greco's Girls: bondage, rubber and or scuba and that you also post a lik to our website as well.
Will there be a Gift Gallery where other artists can have their drawings displayed in the Greco's Girls website?
I am glad to say that we now can display art from other artists.  Check out Elena's art here.  If you want to have your art in Greco's Girls, send us an email or post it in the GrecoGroup.
Hey, I got a question that is not here!  What can I do?
Post your question in the GrecoGroup and we will do our best to answer it!
